Sam Marchand is a student at the University of Notre Dame double-majoring in Finance and Political Science. He achieved perfect 5/5 scores on the College Board®'s AP® U.S. History, AP® World History, and AP® European History tests. After earning his Eagle Scout rank, Sam was also the Texas state champion in social studies as well as current events in 2021. Sam is also active in speech and debate, being a three-time UIL State qualifier in both CX and Congressional debate. Active in local government, Sam has interned with his local city council and chamber of commerce. In his spare time, Sam enjoys historical reading on Wikipedia, flying drones, and playing with his cat, Walter.

Math is a passion of his, and he has earned scores of 5/5 on the College Board®'s AP® Calculus AB, AP Statistics, AP® Computer Science A, AP® U.S. History, AP® English Language, and AP® Environmental Science tests. Biraj participates in research, being a published author on a bioinformatics project, and can help students enter the field of college research. Biraj is also interested in astronomy, winning international awards from the IDA for his work addressing urban light pollution. In his free time, Biraj lifts weights and is an avid gamer.
